First Saturday of November

We were invited awhile ago at the Manila Rivercity for an opening night for the future and current buyers - and of course we were invited by the bosses themselves since we were one of their current buyers. (Naks!)

We were greeted warmly and with excitement by one of the lead sales agent, Gabi. Ms. Hilda was also there, and the president greeted us too and remembered us by our first and last names (wow!). We were invited for a dinner of pasta, rice, relyenong bangus, etc. After dinner, we proceeded by taking an exclusive tour - and because there were a few people around, we were able to look around on all of the rooms of the finished and fully furnished - the Nile building.

I took using my Nokia phone, and it's a bit crappy though. Here's some of the pictures of the rooms:

And look what I found~!

They have tons of clickers for lights, stove, etc. And oh, they even have sprinklers incase of fire. I feel like what Carrie Bradshow told Mr. Big during their condo hunt in the movie:

Hello! I live here~!

My husband with a wide & cheesy grin - so very proud of the condo unit~

Technically, our building - Colorado, will be finished by next year, and instead of December 2010 they've promised - they told us that we can move by November 2010. The building will be finished at around July - August 2010, and they need 3 more months to install the elevator. They also told us that we can have our own business since the Manila Rivercity will have its own commercial building - and I like it because they prioritize the condo unit owners like us, plus if we have an iCafe business there - we are the only ones permitted to have it. There won't be any other iCafe business - meaning you'll have a business without competitors in the area (it's like an exclusive condo unit owners commercial building).

After that, we went to Rockwell - Power Plant Mall to see a movie. Thanks to Ching, she gave me two free movie passes - and so we watched All About Steve. Since we were an hour and a half early, we went to Coffee Bean. My hubby ordered ice-blended mocha, while I ordered pure vanilla. We also shared a Chicago cheesecake. Yum.

After that, my hubby invited me to take a stroll since he told me it's his 'first time' in the mall.

Nice early Christmas decorations!

My hubby on emo pose :P

And we found uber cute lifesize stuffed animals! And my hubby wants me to be like a kid by hugging them in these pictures:

Hmm... now I'm wondering if I'd like to put them in our new condo unit. What d'you think? ^.^

Ciao~!

Just Another Day with Him

I changed my notebook wallpaper! Well, just the pics~

So that I'll have inspiration everytime I login. ^_^

We went to Puerto Galera last August 21 and stayed for almost a week - vacation away from... everything. We had fun since our hotel was just infront of the White Beach, and had tons of activities besides swimming; we also hired a tour guide to get to Tukuran Falls - and with luck - we were the first to go there that day, and so I was able to swim. The water there was different from the beach, but it was cold and very clean and clear. We also went to Tamaraw Falls and the scary bridge.

The food was so affordable and yummy (I probably gained pounds again) and had fun during nighttime from the entertainment, comedians, etc.

You can visit more of our adventures here: Puerto Galera Galore

I also got mushy mushy, so I decided to write our love story here: How We Met~

It was a busy month again for me, since we also had a Grand EB at SM Manila last August 29, and I never expected that all players will be supporting our event.

You can also visit the pics and the happenings here: ZX Rise of the Emperor Grand EB

Last night, a bunch of my colleagues wanted to eat at Little Tokyo in Makati.

But then, it was raining hard, and the six of us (excluding Jay in the driver seat) had manage to squeeze into Jay's car (thanks so much Jay!).

Then we ordered takoyaki - my hubby and I love this - and yeah, I introduced him to this and he was addicted ever since, and then Chardy & JM ordered okonomiyaki (it's like a meat pancake / pizza), but they failed to have me addicted to this (sorry guys!). It's weird though, I always find anything new is yummy.

I took this picture because it reminded me of Ramen Girl. ^.^

Okonomiyaki failed me!

I love takoyaki!

My bestfriend for foodtrip~

Jay waiting excitedly for the food!

Jay and I have the common love for sweets - shaved ice - melon flavor with milk (he ordered the same thing~)

My hubby and me~

Today my hubby and I went to Megamall and watched Year One. There had been an awkward moment when a family went in in the middle of the movie and get this - their kids were around 5-6-year-old - and the movie was for us, not suitable for those kids. I just hope the parents knew what they had let their kids watch... -_-"

During the movie we had takoyaki again, sour cream-flavored french fries and cotton candy~! (our usual food while watching flicks)

After the movie, I bought my hubby two pairs of pants - and they were on sale! We also bought a cute green umbrella because our old one was sadly destroyed during the last storm.

We also bought a new keyboard - and this time, we had assurance from the shop that the letters won't fade away - or we get our money back. XD~

I had my bes to send me Paramore's Ignorance (yes this mp3 was from their CD) and the sounds were awesome! Thanks Rei~! Usually mp3s doesn't have that much quality when they're new. ^_^

Anyway, we're back at home - he's playing some PC games, while I'm browsing thru eBay, Hot Topic, Punk and Rave shops, Plurking, and blogging~

We'll be attending my parents' anniversary tomorrow. Tons of my relatives from both sides will be coming too for the party.

Till my next blog post~ Ciao!

How We Met

I've been reading the past interviews that I made with the gamers since 2006 since we started the wedding schedules for Ran Online and currently managing the GMs at Your Wedding for ZXOnline, these inspired me to create our story.

March 2006
I started working at e-Games Philippines as a GameMaster. I was the third female GM to be hired, and the first day was weird since I was using his computer (yes, GM Strycnine's computer to be exact), and I didn't know until he informed me. I apologized and asked if he'll be using it, but as a gentleman, he kindly let me finish on what I was currently working on - which was the forum boards.

Our picture at the office when we were GameMasters

Neneng Bea and Totoy Lee XD~

It was around summer when we started hanging out along with our colleagues. I began teasing his fave shirts in orange, and also started calling names in-game as "Popsicle GM" or "Owange GM."

We love owange! Strycnine & Celestia

Emo-look daw~

We had tons of fun even when we're just friends and colleagues or be it in-game or on gimik mode. We spent a lot of time in-game, chatting thru YM (eventhough we sit side-by-side) and on breaktime. Our GM head suddenly changed schedule shifts in teams - Morning, Mid, and Graveyard. Usually female GMs were put on morning or midshift - or so I thought - but then I was put on GY team along with him, GM BadLungs and GM Savio. They said they needed a Community / Tech GM on that shift. ~_~

There were times that he and I were the only ones on GY shift. One day, when we were teasing around thru YM chat, he casually told me "don't fall inlove with a guy like me." I told him I won't, because that would be awkward and weird for me and for him. I think the chat started because he told me he was going out with a girl and it's been a while since he dated someone. I gave him lots of tips, but then the next day, he told me they never went out. I asked him why, but he never gave a straight answer.

After a few weeks, that situation faded away as we go about doing our work. GM BadLungs teased whether we had a relationship or not, and I just laughed and said no. But then he told me it was because he caught Lee staring at the monitor when I was not on shift that day and waiting for me to buzz him thru YM like I always did. I laughed again thinking it was a joke, but he was serious, because the YM chat window that was open that day on his monitor was mine.

One day, Lee told me thru YM chat during our shift that he needs to talk to me on breaktime. I said I had tons of work and was curious at the same time, I forced him to tell me ASAP thru YM chat instead. ^.^

At first, he didn't budge. But then he typed in these words "I'm falling in love with you, but I won't wait for an answer from you. I just want you to know."

I did not answer to that, but I did type in a smiley emoticon. Later he asked me if we could go out after my shift (it was his dayoff) and I agreed since GM Heinzhummer will be going with us (he was not yet a GM during those times, but he was one of Lee's closest friends). We walked from Malate to Baywalk since there were no available seats in one of Malate's bars and resto. We finally ordered at Baywalk near the pagoda, wherein I had the best and huge BBQs for dinner. We all had fun talking until the sun came up and yes, we all didn't sleep (well, my shift ended at 12midnight, I was at midshift already).

May - July 2006
This was then I made a choice - and I chose Lee. He told me he thought he could never find someone that can share the same passion he had in games - and even admitted that he was intimidated that I can play Counterstrike, DOTA, and can PK in online games that easily. I never get to know the other details on how he loves me, but I guess we'll have to see how it'll work out. ^_~

February 7, 2009
This is the date where we said our vows infront of God, our family and friends. This is where our love story has finally had a happy ending to a new beginning of our future.

Be it in-game...

Or in real life...
